One of the more interesting games to deal with Limbo, the puzzles were complex enough. Each of the paintings you went into had unique and interesting stories. The visuals are so distinct, it made the game feel different seeing the people effectively losing their forms.

I really enjoyed the game, looking forward to other ideas.

Thank you for your feedback! The team loved seeing your playthrough :)

Karim, Lino, provate questo gioco (ma non premete mai esc per l'amor del cielo)

Hey, really liked your game, it was pretty different than what I've seen, and the stories of each character were really good, the music really adds to the atmosphere, and the art too, it's really cool and I can't really tell from who but it reminds me of the artstyle of a painter I can't remember now. Anyway, it was really good and the concept was great, really liked the third painting, glad you added that scary factor, the monster was cool too.

(+2)

Holy- that final painting scared the sh** outta me. Like surprisingly scared. So amazing i loved this game so much. The stories are so interesting, i literally cried on the second one like seriously was some powerful stuff. I love the music and sound in this too, it's really immersive and amazing vibe. The art reminds me of those ai drawings, which i love, it gives a really eery and uncomfortable atmosphere which is so cool. Loved it so much, i'm glad i stumbled upon this - i literally made an account just to comment!

(+1)

Wow

(+1)

This is probably the only game that makes me feel calm even in the mornings, It would take a few hours for me to quit playing when someone tells me to

(+1)

That third painting is to scary for me,I wasn't a fan of scary things so why am I even here, I like the game a lot tho but I'm to scared to come out of the room where the generator is XD

(+1)

Your art style is intriguing. The creepy design is great. I also like the ending.

(+2)

I loved it!

(+2)

My take on this thought provoking game can shed some life in it's own way. To you and from us all AlgebraFalcon we say thank you!

(+2)

This was so fascinating to watch, our team loved your breakdown!

Thank you! It was my pleasure ^_^

Update: I just made another existential horror game called Cohabitation and thought you would be interested in giving your take on it on your channel! You can find it here: https://algebrafalcon.itch.io/cohabitation

(+1)

this was amazing, i loved it, i had fun playing with my cousin and discussing on what to do and pick, but damn.. the ending.. good lord that made my jaw drop for a while.

(+1)

thus is a game we all enjoy. this game is called "Time is solid here" a game about helping people move on. with horrors and fantastic art and music. and the ending gave me the chills but i'm not spoiling the ending ;)  I really enjoyed this game and I hope others enjoy it to

(+1)

Man, I haven't played a game that gave me chills like this in a long time. Thank you for making it, it really made sit back and think for a few minuets. I cant describe how much I enjoy playing games that make me question and think like yours did. Thank you for the amazing game.

(+4)

I looked into this because the visuals really intrigued me, I did not expect that it was so moving and tackled these existential topics of letting go and dealing with the past. Beautiful work (the video is my first part but I played the game through and post the ending soon).

(+1)

This is so sick! Can't wait to watch it and thank you for playing :)

(+2)

Aw, it makes me so happy that you enjoyed my lets play, you really did something gorgeous here. My second part:

(I put some further thoughts in my liner notes because I had them during editing, just in case you’re interested). Again, all around a great game and I think you did a good job at the psychological horror-part. You have a way of being subtle and head-on in just the right places.

(+1)

Yes, I saw and it's already on my list. You'll hear from me once I tried it out :)

(+1)

I just played it and loved it. Would love more stuff like this. God, I miss the guide so much, and barley even talked to him. At the end it almost felt like creator to player. Didn't help me move on but did make me kinda think no one is anyone's son or daughter, in a weird way... anyways, amazing game.

(+1)

really good game and story made me sad and happy at times great work

(+1)

Incredible game! thank you so much for making it!

(+1)

i loved this game so much , its unlike anything ive ever seen !! amazing work !!

(+1)

This game is a masterpiece!!!!! It hits so hard!!!! Literally the best game I've ever played. The ending was kinda disappointing 'couse i thought the main character will free himself too. Like there will be a story of him or something like that. Im rating this game 10/10. Excellent job!

(+3)

For anyone else on macOS having trouble getting the game to run, you've gotta use an app like Keka or The Unarchiver to unzip the download. It won't work if you use Archive Utility for some reason. After unzipping using Keka,

  1. Go into the folder and right click on Game.app
  2. Select "Show package contents"
  3. Go to Contents/MacOS/ and verify the nwjs file shows up as a Unix Executable file as so: (if it doesn't that means the folder wasn't uncompressed correctly, try again using Keka or The Unarchiver.)
  4. Right click on it and select open.
  5. macOS will say something like are you sure you want to run this blah blah blah just click Open and it should work.
  6. Afterwards you should be able to launch the game straight from the Game.app file - though you'll have to allow it to run just one final time more.

For the devs: Amazing game guys, i've only played a bit so far but man the soundtrack slaps! From what i've seen online trying to get it to run it seems the issue stems from how you guys are making your archives which leads to the default macOS archiver to mess up somehow.

(+2)

you can also download the itch app and download/run it from there! worked for me

(+1)

Thank you so much for these instructions! I will try using a Mac computer to re-deploy and re-upload tomorrow, I believe this issue may have been caused by the fact that I am developing on a Windows machine, which is not able to turn on a certain flag when deploying for mac.

(+2)

Update: Just re-deployed for Mac on a Mac computer. Issue should be fixed now (though the app does get automatically flagged by security settings, so you must open it by control-clicking the executable file and choosing open from the shortcut menu).

(+2)

oh my gosh this game is amazing!! stunning soundtrack, great story, so original in every way!

(+1)

Hey, just logged in to thank you and all your team for this game. Sound is perfect. Wish U good things)

Hey CrazeLarious, I just made another horror game called Cohabitation and think you would be interested in playing it on your channel! You can find it here: https://algebrafalcon.itch.io/cohabitation

(+3)

This game is just awesome, stories of characters is incredibly sad and interesting, and i really like soundtrack and graphic style, although i still didn't finish it,cuz monster in third painting is too fast he just respawn near me and i cant escape him. I will put 5\5,but hardly i would ever finished it

(1 edit) (+2)

Thank you! You can try escaping him by using the lockers! He can't follow you through those, and you can bait him into follow you only to escape by moving through a locker :)

(+2)

Thank you for advice,i will get through it one day

(+2)

You can try following the route I chose in my video. If the monster follows the same path then you won't meet him.

(+1)

Dude, thank you very much, this route was right and monster really didn't appear

(+1)

XD your welcome :)

(1 edit) (+3)

Here is the youtube video that I said I will be posting.

I think you guys might wanna add images onto your itch.io page and create a nice layout for your page as it will also attract people to play the game as well. This is an amazing game and I hope everyone gets to know it and play it. :)

Also, it would be cool if the soundtrack of the game was made available for listening as well. XD

(+2)

Just updated the web page and linked to the soundtrack in the description! You can find it here:

Thank you so much!!! :)

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel. I will post a video of the gameplay soon so keep a look out for it :)

I was immediately attracted to the game when I saw the main image for the game as well as the description of the game. I really like horror games that incorporate puzzles, original and unique soundtracks as well as a beautiful storyline that enables players to have an immersive experience.

When I entered the game, the aesthetics and soundtrack used at the start blew me away as I literally sat there listening to the entire song that was played in the introduction before playing the game. The visual design for the game was stunning, incorporating disturbing but beautiful together, which is perfect for a horror game.

I really liked the storyline of the game where the main character ventures into paintings to help people to move on from the negative experiences that have been affecting them from moving forward in life. For me, my favourite painting was the second one as I actually cried while reading the story of the little child in the last room as well as the sad music played in the background really triggered my inner emotions. To me, it felt like the child was suffering so much to a point where even I could feel it's pain. I am really impressed by the writer of the storyline as well as the creators of the music used at the perfect timings.

The variety of gameplay and various phobias explored really made the entire horror game experience an incredible one. The use of mazes, narrow corridors, horrrifying visual imagery, a "chasing-monster", puzzles are all one of the most basic features added into horror games but the creators executed the horror game so well that it felt as though everything was done perfectly to create a good rpg horror experience for the player.

I am not sure if there is more to come for the game but I would am extremly excited and looking forward to more things added to this game or a whole new game created by you guys as the game "Time is Solid Here" is amazing and really made the day for me.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
