>W< amazing

This game is a masterpiece, truly. The narrative is great, the puzzles are too, and the art is really chilling and cool at the same time. Also love how you handled the topics about AI.

Master piece
All from the emotion interact to the pshycological horror

i think the only issue is when u run from the monster to the lockers he just keeps standing there no longer pursuite you

But overall it was a pure work
keep it up

only issue i had was exiting from the menu but other than that, peak game

wow this might be one of the best games on the site here's an award

What a masterpiece! this game was insane, i loved it

(1 edit)

good game though painting 3 scared me half to death almost ended up there 🤣

Damn. This game was insane. Honestly one of the best games I've played on this site. I did a playthrough.

bulls it be a horror game i'm in tears

This was... something else.

life changing game

why when I press options to turn the music down I cant get out

Not to get all English teacher here, but this game to me is an allegory of life, and that you may not always know what is going on, or if you're making the right choices, but in the end, you can look back and realize that your "purpose" in life is whatever you decide it should be. On top of all that, Charon to me is a representation of the voice inside your head, the one who tells you not where to go, nor what to do, but tells you how things are.

It's a great game, and I would HIGHLY recommend it. However, it's one of those games you only play once—not because it's bad, but because it's an experience you only get from one playthrough.

loveddd!! all of the paintings were too good to just have one favoritee!!

Hey, I'm a bit silly, so I couldn't find the language selection part. Can you help me?

To play the game in another language, please click on one of the links in this game's description. Each language is a seperate page :)

Solid like a snake?

I cannot express how much I enjoyed this, best game I've played in a while! I genuinely liked listening to the stories of all the characters, and the whole game had kind of a creepy/disturbing vibe. Highly recommend to anyone considering playing this!

Wow, I'm not really a person that gets chills from games but this? This game was something else.
Thank you to everyone who worked on this little masterpiece.

I don't get why this game is not popular enough. It's deep and really meaningful. I lost my wish to play any game or to do anything at all due to the responsibilities and stress ive on me, also the aging. But this game made me enjoy the thing im doing once again, after a really long time. Thank you so much. The perspectives, stories, THE WAY YOU LET US GET THE IDEA ABOUT IT BY OURSELVES WITH THOSE TINY DETAILS, IM CRAZY ABOUT THAT PART, the way it makes us think so deeply on the answers we are getting without any other questions left... It's an amazing game. Thank you for existing and making this game, haha<3
(as a music lover and creator myself, im in love with the soundtrack also)

… Incredible game. Maybe one of the bests on Itch.io.

Hello! Sorry to bother you but could you recommend me more amazing itch.io games? [:

Of course! There are lots of em, like StarGrove Scramble, BugScraper, Static Cling and Capybara Quest =]

Oh thank you so much!! I'll definitely go check them out!! :D

You’re welcome! =]

Loooooooved this. I like that it was a bit more bleak than I thought it'd be, like I thought the old woman would find a love note from her adoring husband and not THAT. Creative and didn't take the obvious easy storylines.

(Sidenote, when I saw the figure in the hospital bed (no spoilers) I thought it was going to for an aborted fetus route...glad it didn't haha)

Gonna recommend this to my friends :) Thanks for making it!

When i saw that thing i thought it would be a baby with cancer for some reason

Can anyone please tell me how to enter my save file

What do you mean by enter your save file? If you mean continue from an existing save file, please use the "Carry On" option in the start menu.

oh thank you so much, i thought i had to start over!

Amazing game! It was fun and a bit scary and the soundtrack is amazing

I love this game, an almost perfect mix of horror, thoughtfulness, and emotion. I loved every painting, and the lore being discovered instead of shown. 8/10

God... I don't have words, damn. I 100% recommend playing this!!! I LOVE IT

A masterpiece of art, nothing more, nothing less.

This has got to be one of the best games i've ever played.

That was a work of art, good lord. I felt my heart race when that "monster" was out, I genuinely thought I was cooked.

On a serious note though, this was honestly one of the best games I've ever played, and I'll definitely play this again sometime.

Also, I loved the music so much, it was banger after banger.

I thought i wouldn’t get to the end because of the… thing, but it was actually kinda easy

This game is incredible, I wish there were more paintings to discover or an option to discover more about yourself.

The music pulled me into the game as if I could feel what is happening inside, it's really good.

I'm not a fan of ai but I think it works well here, as it helps evoke a dreamy and confusing feel.

10/10 experience.

This game beat my expectations, I usually just play to kill time but this one, I enjoyed it!

I'm expecting spanish translation!

A spanish translation is currently in the works and almost done! :)

Wow, such a good experience, huh.

Thank you so much for the comment :)

I don't normally comment on itch, but I really wanna say how much I love this game after one play only and some random stuff that came to mind. (yeah theres yapping prob spoilers ahead but this is a like 40 min game so just go play it rq doofus :3)

Anyways, time for the random 3am inspiration rant.
And first off. I really wanna mention the small detail on how Chevron (I think the head dude right?) is Charon the ferryman, on the River Styx. Though I don't know a lot at all about Greek mythology, I think it's a nice nod to his character and placement in the story where he's just showing the Player their way out to their own painting in the end. It's a really nice touch that I didn't expect in the slightest going into playing this and tbh I can only thank my 8th grade ELA teacher for me even getting this reference lmao.

I also like how in painting 3 with the retrospective army man, and the spider which I quite don't know the meaning of yet that the lead up to the man is a winding path of seemingly flesh and bone walls. It's like in his (hers? theirs?) flashbacks they realize that the soil is all made up of death, bone, and flesh that proves more to himself that he and his people weren't the good guy.

Sorry for the 3 gadamn paragraphs (w/ the first one anw) but this was a really cool play and I didn't expect how good it was. I mean as soon as you boot up the game it foreshadows the ending and you go back to the title and just go "OOOOOOOOHHH OMFG" but I've mentioned one to many things now. I actually don't know how to end this pretty much one-pager so I guess thank you for making such an incredible game and also thank everyone who read this far. Cya :3

Thank you so much! Yes Charon is meant to invoke the ferryman and the walls in the final level are meant to invoke flesh, specifically a birth canal! I always love seeing analysis like this, thank you so much for your comment!

So maybe i wasn’t wrong in thinking that guy was a baby, but it definitely does NOT talk like one
